Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform good starting operation through a starting warm-up device without a choke, by electrically controlling a fuel increasing means and the degree of opening of a throttle valve.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel increasing port 16, which communicates with a float chamber 4, is opened into an intake pipe 1 downstream to a throttle valve 2 and provided with a solenoid valve 5 for opening and closing the port 16. A thrust bar 6 secured on the diaphragm of a dashpot 7 is engaged on the lever 3 of the throttle valve 2. A stroke shaft 8 interlocked with a gear mechanism 9, 9' can come into contact with the bar 6. The gear mechanism 9, 9' is controlled by a drive motor 10 which receives a signal from a control unit 11 into which various signals are entered. In starting operation at low temperature, the port 16 is opened and the shaft 8 moves the bar 6 leftward to slightly open the throttle valve 2.
