Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the economy and reliability of a stationary core by dividing the core perpendicularly to an axial direction into two portions and welding the divided two portions together with a sealing pipe, thereby reducing the consumption of a material and the number of working steps. CONSTITUTION:A thick cylindrical boss 10a and a trapezoidal flange 10b of a stationary core 10 are separately formed, and the boss 10 is engaged with one end of a sealing pipe 9. The end of the flange 10b is engaged with this end face, and the butting surfaces are weleded at the entire periphery. In welding the sealing pipe 9, both 10a and flange 10b, a bearing 4 is inserted into annular notches 33, 34 formed at the boss 10 and flange 10b, the pipe 9 is engaged with the boss 10a, and the end face of the pipe 9 is intimately contacted with the end face of the flange 10b, and the positions of both are confirmed.
