Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce load in drawing operation by a method wherein steel plates are arranged slanted to the diameter direction of a centering and the ends of the plates are fixed to the periphery of the centering.
CONSTITUTION: Steel plates 2 are positioned at an angle θ with respect to the normal of the outer periphery of the centering 3. Then, the ends of the steel plates 2 are welded to the periphery of the centering 3. Next, a rotary shaft is inserted into the centering 3 and rotated. While so doing, the pushing pieces 6 having roller 5 are moved toward the centering 3 to perform drawing operation of the steel plates 2, thereby providing an involute iron core. The operation needs reduced force bacause the steel plates 2 are preliminarily slanted.
