Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate stress concentration at a bar end by a method wherein the engaging part of a bar and a core to be provided within a slot of rotor core is provided with unevenness for engaging the two. CONSTITUTION:A rotor core 3 is prepared by alternately laminating a fixed number of iron plates having a short radial length and also of those having a long radial length in the part corresponding to the bottom of the slot 4 of the rotor core 3. Accordingly, the bottom part of slot 4 of the rotor core 3 repeats unevenness. The rotor core 3 is mounted to a mold followed by injecting aluminium to form a bar 1 in each slot 4 and also an end ring 2 each on both ends. Consequently, because the projected part 6 of the bar 1 engages with the core 3, the stress concentration on the bar end can be eliminated.
