Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce manhours by performing total magnetic wedges in series and setting an iron core in them all at once. CONSTITUTION:Multiple wedge parts 3a which fit into open slots 2 redially distributed on the end surface of a stator core 1 for a flat-type electric motor are connected by an external ring part 3b and an internal ring part 3c to form a magnetic wedge 3. After providing a winding 4 on the open slot 2, the magnetic wedge 3 is set in such manner as to cover the stator core 1 and the wedge part 3a to cover the open slot 2. Thus it is possible to fit the magnetic wedge into each slot all at once, so that manhours can be reduced.
