Abstract
PURPOSE:To control steam pressure in a cooling device and always obtain prescribed cooling performance of the device, by providing a motor driven radiator fan that controls quantity of blown air on the basis of concentration of antifreeze liquid contained in cooling water. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water pressurized by a water pump 1 is jetted from a nozzle 3 into a cooling jacket 6, and steam absorbing evaporation heat from external wall surfaces of a cylinder passes through a steam passage 7, and is condensed then liquefied by a motor driven fan 9 in a radiator 8. Concentration of antifreeze liquid contained in the cooling water is detected by electrode plates 20, 21, then the motor driven fan 9 is controlled through an F-V converter 25 and controller 14 to control steam pressure in a cooling device. In this way, unevenness of cooling performance can be prevented.
