Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily trace a fault of a storage circuit which plural users use in common, by storing in order updated contents together with an address and a name in a trace storage circuit, and storing the contents of a considerable quantity so as to cope with a faulty enviroment. CONSTITUTION:A program stored in a main storage device 2 is executed by a central processor 1, and a state of the processor which is being operated is monitored by a service processr 3. This processor 1 is provided with a counter 4, a status information register 6, a user's name register 7 for storing a name of a program (a user's name) which is being executed, and an updating processing part 8 for executing the updating processing. In this state, when a user of the processor 1 updates contents of a specific address of the device 2, contents of the register 7, contents of the register 6 and updating contents are stored in a position based on contents of a counter CT of a disk device 5, by the processing part 8, and after that, contents of a prescribed position of the device 2 are updated. In this way, a fault of the device 2 which plural users have in common is traced easily by using the device 5.
