Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the extraction of the transitions of movements in terms of numerical values possible by quantizing speeds and providing integrator groups corresponding to the combinations of the current quantization codes and the past qantization codes by a constant time. CONSTITUTION:A shift register and a selection circuit are connected to a speed quantizing circuit which samples and quantizes the moving speeds and directions of a target object at every constant time. The shift register and the selection circuit are connected to each other and further plural integrators are connected to the selection circuit. In the shift register, the quantization data outputted by the speed quantizing circuit are inputted and are shifted at every sampling time. The respectively different integrates are selected in correspondence to the combinations of the output values of the shift register and the output value of the speed quantizing circuit in the selection circuit. The operation of inputting a numerical value 1 to the selected integrator and a numerical value 0 to the unselected integrators is repeated at every constant time, whereby the transitions of the movements are accumulated in the memories of the integrators, and the movement information is known by the output patterns of the integrator group.
