Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the range of temperature change and consequently obtain comfortable cooling and heating by a method wherein the deviation between actual temperature and set temperature is measured at fixed time intervals and the number of a plurality of cooling and heating apparatuses in operation is increased or decreased in the predetermined order in accordance with the polarity of the deviation. CONSTITUTION:The actual temperature signal TA detected with a thermosensor 2 and the temperature set value signal TB set with a temperature setter 3 are inputted to a comparator 4-1. The comparator 4-1 outputs a high signal when the actual temperatue signal TA is larger than the temperature set value signal TB and outputs a low signal when TA equals or is smaller than TB. Pulse signal from a clock pulse generator 6-1 and the output from the comparator 4-1 are inputted to a four bit binary up-down counter 5-1. When the pulse signal is inputted under the condition that the output of the comparator 4-1 is hight (low), the counter counts plus one (minus one) in binary digit and a decoder 5-2 successively shifts ON signals among output terminals 0-5 in response to the outputs of the counter 5-1 in order to successively excite relays RA-RE so as to successively operate or stop the cooling and heating apparatuses A-E as indicated in an attached figure.
