Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve comfortability of cooling in the whole car speed range, by connecting a bypass channel in parallel with a capillary tube to a flow channel cross-sectional area control valve which increases the degree of opening as the cat speed increases, in case of an air ventilator that uses the capillary tube as an expansion mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A thermoelectctric expansion valve 7 is provided in parallel to a capillary tube 3 so that the opening of a valve body may be changed by the signals from a car speed detector 9. Thus, the car speed detector 9 generates a voltage depending on the increased car speed and this voltage is applied to the thermoelectric expansion valve 7. Therefore, the heater of expansion valve 7 generates heat and a bimetal is operated. The valve 7 increases the degree of its opening and the bypass channel cross-sectional area is increased. As a result, the coolant flow rate to the capillary tube 3 is decreased depending on the car speed and the coolant flow rate can be secured at high speed. Thus, comfortability of cooling in the whole car speed rang can be improved.
