Abstract

PURPOSE: To inhibit the blockage of a catalytic oxidation vessel with sludge and to enhance purification efficiency, by discharging a solution aerated in a cylindrical aeration vessel under a condition mixed with air into the catalytic oxidation vessel to form fine bubbles, and letting the bubbles flow downwards.
CONSTITUTION: Crude liquid 9 is a conditioner 8 is fed through the bobbom of an aeration vessel 2 and filled in the aeration vessel 2 and an oxidation vessel 6, while air is fed through an air inlet opening 4 to form bubbles. The bubbles flow upwards through the aeration vessel 2 and saturate the crude liquid 9 with oxygen, to form a saturated liquid 9'. The apparent specific gravity of the liquid inside the aeration vessel 2 is reduced by the ascending flow of excess bubbles, and the ascending flow of the liquid is formed. The ascending flow is hampered by an end plate 1, and internal pressure is formed inside the vessel 2. The solution 9' is oversaturated with oxygen due to the internal pressure.
