Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent trouble, such as the lowering etc. of a washing function due to bubbles by a mechanism wherein ozone is mixed, a bubble separating tank is mounted before exhaust gas from an aeration tank in which the bubbles are mixed contacts with a wash liquid, and the bubbles are broken.
CONSTITUTION: Ozonized air 13 from ozone generator 12 is mixed with malodorous gas 7 containing bubbles sucked by means of a fan 8 from an aeration tank 2, the bubbles are separated by means of a bubble separator 35, and the gas is sent to a washing tower 9. The bubbles 36 are detained in the separator 35, foaming components are oxidized by ozone to break the bubbles, and a separating liquid formed is discharged from a drain valve 37. The malodorous gas is gas-liquid contacted with a wash liquid 14 circulating in the washing tower 9, and exhausted through a demister 22. The wash liquid 14 is supplied from an alkaline solution tank 17 controlled by means of a pH meter 15 and a pH regulator, supplementary water 20 and a powder activated carbon suspension tank 31, and overflowing water 21 is discharged after activated carbon is sedimented and separated at a disposal tank 33.
