Abstract
PURPOSE: To dehydrate a solid substance such as sand and to convey the same by a method wherein residual scrape-up blades and a ring like elastomer are provided to the inside of a rotary drum and impact force is imparted to the ring like elastomer.
CONSTITUTION: A ring like elastomer 11 is provided to the central part of the hollow barrel of a rotary drum having a supply port provided to one side wall thereof and a discharge port provided to the other side wall thereof and scrape- up blades are arranged to inner peripheral surface of said ring 11 in a radial form an vibration apparatuses 2, 2' for imparting impact force to said ring 11 are provided to the upper and the lower parts thereof. In addition, a discharge chute which receives a solid substance scraped up to the ceiling of said drum by scrape-up blades 12 and transfers the same to a discharge port is also provided. In this condition, the solid substance such as sand or the like is scraped up while sufficiently dehydrated by vibration and effectively discharged by vibration. As described above, the solid substance such as sand or the like is dehydrated and discharged in good efficiency.
