Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an extremely large ruggedness by a method wherein a synthetic resin containing the first foaming agent is coated on a base material part located at recesses of a rugged roller, and a synthetic resin containing the second foaming agent having a decomposition temperature higher than that of the first foaming agent is coated thereon. CONSTITUTION:A flame-retarding backing sheet 1 for a walling sheet of about 0.15mm. in thickness is wound around the rugged roll 5 provided with a minute rugged pattern, and a polyvinyl chloride coating material 2' containing the first foaming agent (which has a decomposition temperature of 130 deg.C) is coated thereon by a knife coater 6 to produce a coated layer 2 on the part of the base material 1 bent at the recesses of the rugged roll 5. The backing sheet 1 is passed through a drying furnce 7 kept at 120 deg.C to dry the coating material to the gelled state, and a polyvinyl chloride coating material 3' containing the second foaming agent (which has a decomposition temperature of 200 deg.C) is coated thereon by a coater 8 to provide a coated layer 3. After foaming the resin by passing through a foaming furnace 10 kept at 220 deg.C in 60sec, the laminate material is wound up through a cooler 11.
