Abstract

PURPOSE:To take out easily a focusing display signal to drive a display member consisting of a sound producing element, a light emitting element, or the like, by delaying the state signal outputted from a focus detecting device in a delay circuit and comparing this delayed signal with the original state signal. CONSTITUTION:A focus detecting device 2 receives an output signal from a light receiving part 1 and inputs a state signal S1 not only to a delay circuit 5 but also to one input terminal of an exclusive OR circuit 6 as a detecting circuit. A delay signal S2 outputted from the delay circuit 5 is inputted to the other input terminal of the exclusive OR circuit 6, and a focusing display signal S3 outputted from the exclusive OR circuit 6 is inputted to a display member consisting of a sound producing element or a light emitting element to drive the display member, thus displaying the focusing state.
