Abstract
PURPOSE:To utilize a part of the video signal, which is supplied to the ITV monitor having a high sensing performance, to generate the alarm signal for the abnormal phenomenon, by providing two kinds of reference luminance data setting circuit. CONSTITUTION:Integrating circuit 3 outputs a voltage proportional to the luminance level at the sensing point just before picture switching, and this output is converted to a digital value by analogue-digital converting circuit 4. Digital delay circuit 5 delays luminance data at the sensing point by an arbitrary frame interval, and differential luminance data between the luminance level before (t) seconds and the latest luminance level is obtained by digital difference circuit 6. This differential luminance data is compared with data of two external reference luminance data setting circuits 7 and 8 by digital comparing circuit 9. Consequently, since the output of comparing circuit 9 limits the change the luminance level at the sensing point in detail, a great change of the illumination intensity due to the environmental change other than the abnormal phenomenon in the field is eliminated.
