Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain the concn. of the dissolved oxygen in an aq. soln. in an autoclave device having a residual air removing means at the prescribed value at all times by communicating a water quality control tank permitting regulation of the concn. of dissolved oxygen to said autoclave device. CONSTITUTION:A high pressure valve 13, a rotary pump 14 and a gas source are disposed to a stationary type autoclave device 12 contg. an aq. soln. 11 and are communicated watertightly with a water quality control tank 19. An aq. soln. of the same volume is contained in this tank 19, and an inert gas such as gaseous nitrogen is introduced with a bubbler 24 therein by the signal of a dissolved oxygen measuring cell 23 to substitute the dissolved oxygen in the soln. 20 with said gas. Since the water quality is controlled by cycling and returning the aq. soln. in the autoclave to the aq. soln. of a known dissolved oxygen concn. in the water quality control tank in this way, the value in the autoclave is maintained at the accurate value.
