Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase reliability of operation by a construction wherein pressurized air is introduced into a correction liquid undiluted solution tank and diluted solution tank provided upstream of a change-over valve in a water quality analizer in which both measured liquid and correction liquid are supplied to a measurement chamber via the change-over valve, thereby to mix the solutions in both tanks. CONSTITUTION:Pressurized air is introduced into a correction liquid undiluted solution tank 1 and diluted solution tank 2. Both tanks 1 and 2 are connected with a change-over valve 6 via a constant volume tube 13. In accordance with a switching operation of the change-over valve 6, a measured liquid or a solution having passed the constant volume tube 13 is fed to a measurement chamber 7. In this manner, the sample is moved by virtue of the pressurized air without using any part which includes a mechanically movable portion, such as a constant volume pump, thus resulting in very high reliability in operation.
