Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject mixer which is capable of mixing liquids at a highly accurate constant ratio by eliminating the pulsative movement of pump by the connection of the lower part of overflow type tank with mixing chamber. CONSTITUTION:Liquids to be mixed by the pump 1 relieved from blocking trouble, e.g., diaphragm pump, etc., are sent to the overflow type tank 3 through the respective discharge pipes 2. The tank 3 is provided with the overflow pipes 4 at its upper part and also the pipes 2 have upward openings below the pipes 4. The lower part of the tank 3 is connected to the mixing chamber 5 with the magnet stirrer 6, etc., for example. The head of liquids sent from the pumps 1 is kept constant by overflow in the tanks 3 and also the pulsative movement of the pump 1 during discharge does not reach the mixing chamber 5 becouse of the upward discharge of liquids through the pipes 2 in the tank 3, thus permitting the constant ratio mixing of liquids at a high accuracy.
