Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily discharge refuse even when the avaiable quantity of water to be overflowed is small, by jetting air bubbles from the bottom, and moreover, producing a water flow forcibly near the water surface to circulate the water. CONSTITUTION:Air is jetted from an air bubbling port 17 placed at the bottom of a tank 11 and is bubbled from all the parts by a hurdle-plate 18. Further, water flow near the water surface is produced forcibly because of the air stream jetted from a jetting port 27 through an air supplying port 25. Then contaminant suh as refuse is floated to the water surface by the bubbles and swept away on the water surface and swallowed up by the circulating water flow, and then filtered by a refuse receiver 20. Thus the removal of the contaminant is easily performed concentratedly only by overflowing a comparatively small quantity of water.
