Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate the limit for the economically effective water depth of the ejector and at the same time to reduce the capacity of the aeration tank by placing a nozzle and a diffuser vertically downward and ejecting the jet stream vertically downward.
CONSTITUTION: Nozzle 4 and diffuser 7 are placed vertically downward, and a jet stream is ejected vertically downward from the ejection port at the end of diffuser 7. By this, since the capacity of the pump in use becomes the up and down displacement of the liquid in air exposure tank 1, it is possible to neglect the pump head difference due to the water depth and to eliminate the limit for the economically effective water depth of the ejector. Further, since oxygen use efficiency becomes remarkably large in proportion to the water depth in use, it is possible to make the capacity of air-exposure tank 1 small.
