Abstract

PURPOSE: To monitor quickly and simply factors such as the plating rate, etc., by giving electric charge to a matter to be plated, generating timing pulses in accordance with its electric potential change, and actuating a measuring-calculation-displaying mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: The material to be plated or a test piece that is dipped into a plating bath is given momentarily electrical charge stored in a capacitor 2. The electric difference potential associated with this is inputted into an electrical potential difference mechanism 4, and the electric potential changed part is inputted into a comparator 5. In accordance with the decay of the electric potential changed part, the gate is opened or closed, and during the opening of the gate, the measuring-calculation displaying mechanism 10 is actuated by signals generated by a timing pulse generator 6. The mechanism 10 comprises a capacitor charging circuit including a capacitor 14, a relay 12 and a resistor 13, a voltage follower comprising an operational amplifier 15, a holding circuit 16, a calculating circuit 17 and a displaying section 18, and calculates the electroless deposition current to display it as a plating speed rate factor.
