Abstract

PURPOSE: To measure quickly the speed rate of deposition, by giving electric charge to a material to be plated, measuring the change of electric potential so as to open and close a gate, counting the clock pulses when the gate is opened, and dividing a predetermined voltage by the value of the voltage converted from the clock pulses.
CONSTITUTION: The material to be plated or test piece dipped in a plating bath is given momentarily electrical charge stored in a condenser 2. The difference associated with this electrical charge supply is inputted into an electric potential difference mechanism 4, and the electric potential changed part is inputted into a comparator 5. If this output voltage is lowered to a first predetermined voltage, the gate 6 is opened, and if it is lowered to a second predetermined voltage, the gate 6 is closed. During the opening of the gate 6, the pulses having a cirtain period from a clock 7 are sent to a counter 8 to be counted, and are changed into a voltage value by a D/A converter 12. It is inputted into a divider 13 as a denominator part to divide an inputted predetermined voltage to get an electroless plating deposition current, which is displayed on a display device 14 as the speed rate of electroless deposition.
