Abstract
1295121 Analogue simulation FERNSTEUERGERATE KURT OELSCH KG 12 June 1970 [1 Aug 1969] 28627/60 Heading G4G An electrical analogue of an electrolytic deposition process which produces an indication of the thickness of deposited metal, comprises, in any order, a source 1 of constant reference voltage, a potentiometer 2 providing an analogue of bath current density, a voltage divider 3 providing an analogue of the relevant properties of the deposited metal including specific gravity, a further potentiometer 6 providing an analogue of the current efficiency of the electrolyte, an integrator 7 and a meter 8 graduated in terms of thickness. The integrator may be a motor, a pulse counter or an analogue integrator circuit. The meter may have a pointer 10 for indicating desired thickness. The potentiometer 2 may be automatically driven by means responsive to the electrolytic current density.
