Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the mar resistance, by adding a thermosetting resin molding material powder and an inorganic filler to a polyester resin molding material.
CONSTITUTION: To a polyester resin molding material prepared by adding a curing agent, filler, mold release, coloring agent, etc., are added 10W70wt% thermosetting resin molding material powder, water content <10%, and 70W10 wt% inorganic filler, particle size <0.1μ. As the thermosetting resin molding material powder, there is particularly preferred a melamine resin molding material powder. When the amount of the thermosetting resin molding material powder is below 10wt%, a mar resistance-improving effect is not obtained, whereas when it exceeds 70wt%, the heat resistance is decreased. As the inorganic filler, there can be mentioned calcium carbonate, silica or clay. With respect to its amount, those of below 10wt% do not provide improved mar resistance, whereas those exceeding 70wt% result in decreased moldability.
