Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve the function and safety with low cost, by inserting a transistor (TR) with a positive feedback circuit between a battery and a stabilized power supply circuit and interrupting a current to the stabilized power supply circuit when a battery voltage is dropped. CONSTITUTION:The collector and the emitter of a control TR11 are respectively connected between a battery 1 and a power supply terminal 14 of a stabilized power supply circuit 7. A voltage dividing a battery voltage with a resistor 10 is applied to the base of the TR11 and positive feedback is performed from an output terminal 15 of the circuit 7 via a resistor 12. A power supply is supplied to an MOS-LSI 8 from the terminal 15 of the circuit 7. If the battery voltage is lowered and the base of the TR11 does not reach a cut-in voltage, since no bias current of the circuit 7 flows, a voltage at the terminal 15 is zero. If the battery voltage is high, a current flows to the collector of the TR11, the circuit 7 is operated and the voltage at the terminal 15. Since this voltage increase is positive-fed-back with the resistor 12, the circuit 7 is rapidly at normal operation. Inversely, if the battery voltage is lowered than a prescribed value, the voltage at the terminal 15 is zero with hysteresis.
