Abstract

PURPOSE:To reliease easy and assured ground monitoring, by deciding a nondefective or defective state through a ground monitor logical circuit and from the control signal of a semiconductor switch and the monitor signal with which the on- and off-states of semiconductor switch are detected in the form of an optical signal. CONSTITUTION:The optical signals corresponding to the control signals are applied to the optical thyristors 132 and 142 from the electrooptic converters 171 and 181 of a control part at the ground side through optical fibers 151 and 161. The current limiting resistances 191 and 201 plus light emitting diodes 192 and 202 are provided as working state detectors. Then the switch on/off optical signals of the diodes 192 and 202 corresponding to the on/off state of the thyristor circuits 13 and 14 of the ground control part are detected by the photoelectrical converters 172 and 182 through the optical fibers 152 and 162. The ground control part performs the automatic monitor of the thyristor circuit from the on/ off state of control signals CON1 and CON2 to be applied to the converters 171 and 181 plus the monitor signals S1 and S2 produced by the outputs of the conconverters 172 and 182.
