Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture crystals showing a specified X-ray diffraction pattern by forming a composition represented by a specified formula contg. an alkali metallic ion source, an org. nitrogen-contg. cation source, a silica source, an alumina soure and water in a specified molar ratio.
CONSTITUTION: A composition contg. an alkali metallic ion source such as sodium hydroxide, an org. nitrogen-contg. cation source, that is, ammonium ion, a silica source such as silica powder, an alumina source such as colloidal alumina and water while satisfying SiO2/Al2O3≥10, R/(Si+Al)=1×10-4W1, OH-/ (Si+Al)=0.1W0.5, H2O/(Si+Al)=5W100 and OH-/H2O=1×10-3W1×10-1 is maintained at ≥80°C to form crystals represented by the formula. The resulting composition is crytalline aluminosilicate zeolite having 4.27±0.1, 4.10±0.05, 3.90±0.05 and 2.50±0.03 as the X-ray lattice spacing values.
