Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture a high purity product with superior reproducibility in a superior yield by adding a surfactant to an aqueous soln. when a silica component is reacted with an alumina component in the soln. to manufacture crystalline aluminosilicate.
CONSTITUTION: Sodium silicate as a silica component is reacted with inorg. salt of Al or aluminate as an alumina component in an aqueous soln. to manufacture crystalline aluminosilicate. At this time, to the soln. are added an anionic, cationic, nonionic or amphoteric surfactant, a gelling inhibitor such as alcohol, and a mineral acid for increasing the product yield such as hydrochlorix acid as a pH regulator. When the resulting aluminosilicate is applied to analcime, mordenite and zeolite as a catalyst for synthesizing gasoline from methanol, the wt. ratio of SiO2/Na2O in used sodium silicate is regulated to 1W2.3, 2.2W3.2 and ≥2.7, respectively.
