Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a speed change shock by moderating a sudden increase of hydraulic oil pressure after the pressure receiving clutch chamber is filled with pressurized oil.
CONSTITUTION: An accumulator valve 12 is connected to a pressure receiving clutch chamber 4'L of a low-speed hydraulic clutch 4L. A throttle 14 is disposed in a pipe 13 which is connected to the clutch chamber 4'L of a first-speed hydraulic clutch 4I. A bypass passage 16 containing a check valve 15 which inhibits a current toward the pressure receiving clutch chamber 4'L extends from the forward point to the backward point of the throttle 14 and is connected to the accumulator valve 12. Pressurized oil, which is fed into the pressure receiving clutch chambers 4'I, 4'R when a speed is changed into the forward first-gear, is gradually raised inside the pressure receiving clutch chamber 4'I with the aid of the throttle 14 disposed in the pipe 13 which is connected to the pressure receiving chamber 4'I. Thereby, the hydraulic clutch 4I is moderately actuated ON, so that a resultant speed change shock may be reduced.
