Abstract

A throttle 14 is disposed in a pipe 13 which is connected to the pressure receiving chamber 4'I of a first gear hydraulic clutch 4I. A bypass passage 16 containing a check valve 15 is disposed in parallel with the throttle 14 and the accumulator valve 12 is connected between the throttle 14 and the pressure receiving chamber 4'I. For changing speed from forward first gear to the second gear, hydraulic oil inside the pressure receiving chamber 4'I flows into a drain, then the flow speed is decelerated through the throttle 14. As the result, a neutral period of the speed change gear may be shortened. In addition, when the hydraulic oil is supplied into the pressure receiving chamber 4'L, its peak pressure may be moderated by the accumulator valve 12.
