Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify arrangement and driving sources in the whole unit of a device, by utilizing X-Y tables in machine tools, unifying motion of a tool reset and motion of a work, before and after machining, into motion of a same moving unit and avoiding interference between movement routes with each other. CONSTITUTION:There are arranged in machine tools 1, 2 an unmachined work receiving device A, machining spindle chuck device B and machined work feed position C. X-Y tables 15, movable to the both directions X, in parallel to a route connecting these positions A, B, C, and Z, crossing at a right angle with this direction X, are provided, and there are fixedly arranged in these X-Y tables 15, holding parts (chuck) 6, 16 for attaching/detaching unmachined work adaptable to each position A, B in accordance with motion of the table, machining tool rests 8, 18, similarly adaptable to the position B, and holding parts (chuck) 7, 17 for attaching/detaching machined work, similarly adaptable to each position B, C, then an inversion device (including a chuck 12), transferring an unmachined work machined with its front side by the front machine tool 1 to the rear machine tool 2, is provided in the position C of the front machine tool 1.
