Abstract

Machine tool for batch machining of many workpieces of different kinds for ultimate assembly together, in which a tension group unit is provided which is capable of taking one or several workpieces, and of placing one or more in a fixed work position. A number of different work units are provided, arranged in conjunction with the tension group unit, and comprises a system of slides which are so pre-adjusted that the tools are moved along a number of axes in order to carry out various work process on several surfaces of one single workpiece or of several. The workpieces are supported in a clamped position by the tension group unit. (17, 18).
