Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized pallet changer for machine tool by forming it with a transport device mounted on a pallet magazine and another transport device installed between the pallet magazine and machining table. CONSTITUTION:No.1 transport device 20 works first to carry a pallet P placed on the pallet magazine 10 to the left end of the rotary table 101 of No.2 transport device 100. At the same time, No.2 transport device 100 works to carry another pallet P placed on the machining table T to the right side of the rotary table 101. Then the rotary table 101 revolves 180 deg. to permit No.1 transport device 20 to carry the pallet P, on which the work machined is placed, toward the pallet magazine 10 and, meanwhile, to allow No.2 transport device 100 to carry the pallet P, on which an unmachined work is placed, toward the machining table T. This sequence of motions will move the pllet P with machined work from the machining table T to magazine 10 and the one with unmachined work to the table T.
