CONSTITUTION:A photoconductive layer formed on a conductive substrate contains vanadyl phthalocyanine shown by the formulaIas a charge carrier generating material, and as charge carrier transfer material a triphenylmethane derivative represented by the general formula II in which R1 is H, alkyl, acyl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl, or aryl; R2 is alkyl, acyl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl, or aryl. It is easily prepared, and an electrophotographic receptor having low cost, high sensitivity, high flexibility, and effectivity for various kinds of electrophotographic processes.
