Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a high acceleration level, by supporting a small-size vibrating table through a vertical elastic supporting material on a large-size vibrating table and connecting a horizontal elastic supporting material between both vibrating tables. CONSTITUTION:A large-size vibrating table 1 supported on a static pressure bearing 2 is connected to a vibrating machine 4 through a universal joint 3. A small-size vibrating table 5 is set on the large-size vibrating table 1 and is supported by an air spring 6 having a soft spring characteristic, and both vibrating tables 1 and 5 have four positions connected to each other by link devices 7. Supporting part pieces 8 protruded from both sides of the large-size vibrating table 1 and both sides of the small-size vibrating table 5 are connected by rigid springs 9. The rigidity of springs 9 is changed to change a resonance point determined by the small-size vibrating table 5 and the weight of a sample, thus adjusting the resonance point. A device to be measured is set on the small-size vibrating table 5, and a time history waveform of seismic wave response is inputted to vibrate it.
