Abstract

PURPOSE:To install a car compressor on a running-in apparatus with a simple operation, by mounting a car compressor on a bench by the intermediary of attachments, and coupling turning shafts together by means of a clutch. CONSTITUTION:A car compressor 2 is fastened to attachement 5 on a bench by means of bolts 13', and one clutch element 26 is fitted to a turning shaft 6 and coupled to a mating-clutch element 24. A nozzle 53 is inserted into an oil injection port 54, and then a main cock 43 and distributor cocks 52 are opened. Thereafter, a driving shaft 23 is turned via an intermediate shaft and a driven shaft through operation clutches 25, 26. On the other hand, a motor 46 is also operated for drawing up lubricating oil in an oil tank 42 by a pump 45 and feeding the oil into the compressor 2 from the nozzle 53. Oil after use for lubrication is collected into an oil collecting trough 57 from an outlet port 55 and then carried back into the oil tank 42.
