Abstract

The pump can drain a motor vehicle of oil quickly. It has a tank (4) to hold the liquid temporarily and a suction source (2) and a conduit to transfer the oil. The tank is connected to the suction source and to a compressed air source (12) and to the suction pipe (6). Suction in the tank sucks liquid into it. Compressed air is then introduced to empty the tank. This is via a two way valve (5). The connection between the tank and compressed air source is by a similar two way valve (11). The operation is automatic.
