Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a field component measuring sensor small sized, and to exactly measure an electric field distribution, by using a photoelectric effect element provided with a clear load electrode and characterized in that the transmission value is varied in accrodance with the electric field intensity. CONSTITUTION:When an electric field intensity measuring instrument probe 1 installed to an insulator supporting lever 9 is placed in the electric field, a voltage proportional to the electric field intensity of each vertical component to an X direction electrode 2 and a Y direction electrode 3 is generated. This voltage is applied to a photoelectric effect element of a sensor 4. On the other hand, a light beam which has been made incident to the photoelectric effect element from an optical fiber 5 rotates, and an optical signal proportional to input voltage is outputted by photodetection. Subsequently, an optical output component propotional to components EX, EY of the electric field intensity is led into an E/O conversion measuring instrument 8 through a multicore optical fiber cable 7, its vector is synthesized like two-dimension, and the quantity proportional to the two-dimensional electric field intensity is displayed.
