Abstract
PURPOSE:To determine the content of FeO of sintered ore continuously by detecting the change in the magnetism corresponding to the amt. of FeO of the sintered ore under movement. CONSTITUTION:A pipe chute 2 made of a non-magnetic material is erected right under a chute 10 which charges sintered ore 1 for a constant grain size section out of the product sintered ore continuously, and an electromagnetic coil 4 is disposed around the same, and is enclosed with a vibration-resistant intermediate material 6. Further, a pipe 3 is fitted on the outer side thereof, and an electromagnetic coil 5 for the purpose of applying magnetic fields to the sintered ore 1 is provided on the outside circumference of said pipe. A table feeder 8 rotating in a horizontal direction and a chute 11 for transfer are disposed below the chute 2. The content of the FeO in the sintered ore 1 is determined in accordance with the calibration curve which is made beforehand, by detecting the rate of change in the magnetism in the magnetic field of the coil 5 with the coil 4.
