Abstract

FIELD: routine monitoring of quality of iron ore in mining, processing and dressing. SUBSTANCE: sample of magnetic iron ore is poured in dish and is placed in converter coil. Then magnetic susceptibility kwhen both alternating and permanent magnetic fields are applied to the sample and kwhen only alternating field is applied to the sample, after which change in magnetic susceptibility Δ = K=Kand ratio of magnetic susceptibilityto its changeare calculated. Content of ferromagnetic substance in the sample is determined by graduation relationship plotted beforehand by graduation relationship; magnitude of permanent magnetizing field is selected within a range of from 25 to 55 kA/m. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 5 dwg, 1 tbl
