Abstract
PURPOSE: To separate and recover magnetic powder of specified particle diameter by moving a mixture of magnetic powder of different particle diameter in fluid and changing loci of movement of magnetic powder depending on particle diameter by applying a magnetic field.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of magnetic powder such as metals, intermetallic compounds, oxides etc. ≤50μm in maximum particle diameter is dispersed and floated in liquid such as water, aqueous solution, alcohol etc. or gaseous Ar, He and others.
