PURPOSE:To obtain high conversion precision without the bit-by-bit adjustment of an input digital signal, by using a counting circuit which sends out a digital signal and a comparing circuit which compares the signal with the input digital signal. CONSTITUTION:A parallel digital signal (a) from an input terminal 1 is led to one input terminal of a comparing circuit 12. To the other input terminal of the comparing circuit 12, a parallel digital signal (b) is supplied from a counting circuit 11 which counts a clock signal (c) that an oscillating circuit 10 generates. The comparing circuit 12 compares the values of those two digital signals (a) and (b) with each other to send out an output signal (f) which consists of prescriber-voltage pulses when a>b, or has a zero voltage when a<=b. The signal (f) is an analog signal (h) having only a DC component extracted through an LPF13 and is outputted from an output terminal 2.
