Abstract

PURPOSE:To make one apparatus to have functions of both a ventilating fan and a circulator by rotating the downstream side part of its rear guider. CONSTITUTION:A stabilizer 2 is positioned in a location where theta forms an angle of more than 45 deg. with an axis A-A of the main body and the downstream side part 3a of a rear guider 4 is arranged to rotate around a shaft 4. When a cross flow fan 1 rotates, a vortex V is generated and in case said part 3a is in a position shown by a solid line, air flows in a streamline like that of a ventilating fan as shown by another solid line. further when said part 3a is rotated in a position shown by a dashed line, the vortex moves from position Va to position Vb. As a result, air flows in a streamline, being absorbed from and discharged to the interior of a chamber as shown by a dashed line in an illustration. In other words, an air flow like that of a circulator is generated. Accordingly, one apparatus can have functions of both a ventilating fan and a circulator by rotating the downstream side part 3a of the rear guider 3.
