Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a ratio detecting performance and to enhance a detecting resolution of temperature, by a method wherein a cold shield, in which a plural number of transmission windows, individually positioned corresponding to infrared detecting elements, are formed, is located at the front of a plural number of the infrared detecting elements and in the proximity of a collecting surface. CONSTITUTION:Infrared detecting elements 4 are placed to a substrate 2 on a copper block 1. An infrared transmitting material 5 is positioned such that the opposite ends seat on stages 7 formed in the block 1, and a shading film 6, wherein a plural number of small windows W', indivudually positioned corresponding to the infrared detecting elements 4, are formed, is located to the under surface of the infrared transmitting material 5. The constitution causes the shading film, wherein the small windows are provided, to keep a better thermal conductivity with the copper block to form a single cold shield, allows three-dimentional angles thetae, thetac of light entering through the small windows to be equalized with each other, and enables making uniform a distribution of a collecting amount collected by each detecting element.
