Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate control of a load limit, by a method wherein a lever, pivoting centering around a fulcrum formed at the inside of a balance, is mounted, stoppers, suppressing swing of the free end thereof, are installed, and meanwhile, the power point of the lever engages a projection on a scale support part. CONSTITUTION:A scale 2, whereon a sample is placed, is secured to an upper end of a scale support part 9 of a double beam type load cell 1. A projection 11 is formed into a unitary body with the load cell 1 at the weighing displacement point of the scale support part, and a contact surface, formed in a horizontal manner on the projection 11, makes point contact with a point of force 10 of a lever 3. The lever 3 pivots centering around a bearing 4 working as a fulcrum, and stoppers 6 and 7 for suppressing swing of a free end 5 are attached thereto. A weight 8 is positioned at the free end (5) side of the lever 3, which causes effacing of a dead weight of a balance. This reduces unevenness of the stoppers, improves a set precision of a load limit, and enables the increase in an allowable load and measuring range.
