Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the testing of a load pattern for varying the load gradually by controlling a weight lifting motor according to the output from comparison of a load actually working on a test piece of a material with a testing load pattern. CONSTITUTION:The weight of a weight 6 is applied as tension load on a test piece 2 of a metal material with one end thereof fixed on a lever 5 supported with a fulcrum 3 and the development of a crack is measured with a displacement meter 4. A displacement input signal 19 indicating the development of the crack is typed out on a typewriter 12 by way of a data input section 13 and a controller 11 in a creep control tester 15. A load 18 actually working on a test piece 2 of a metal material is detected with a load cell 7 and compared with a set load by means of a controller 11. According to the comparison output, a weight lifting motor 10 is controlled through a control output section 17 to lift a weight lifting jack 9 so that the load will match the set load.
