Abstract

PURPOSE:To incorporate a color filter element function and a light sensitive sensor to form a unitary body, by constituting the light conductive element by an element supporting body, a light conductive layer comprising amorphous material whose parent material is Si atoms, and an array shaped coloring matter layers having a pair of signal taking out electrodes on the surface. CONSTITUTION:The light conductive layer 3 comprising amorphous Si is deposited on the supporting body 2. The coloring matter layers 4 having various colors responding to spectral sensitivities required by array shaped elements are formed on the layer 3 in an array shape. Then electrodes 5 and 5' are attached to the array shaped coloring matter layers 4, and the entire surface is coated by an overcoat layer 6 empoying macromolecular resin. In this constitution, as for impurities which are added to the layer 3, B, As, P, Sb and the like are used, and the impurity concentration is in the order of ppm.
