Abstract

PURPOSE:To quicken squelch operating speed, by counting the number of pulses within a set reference time for inputted control signals and increasing or decreasing the squelch operation based on the number of counts. CONSTITUTION:A timer circuit 2 sets a time of a timer according to the number of pulses within a prescribed time T. One pulse signal is outputted from a monostable multivibrator 7 with one operation of the circuit 2 and a clock signal is given to a counter 8. A monostable multivibrator 3 is triggered with an input signal from an input terminal 1 and given to a binary counter 4, this output is applied to a gate circuit 5 and a set signal is outputted. This set signal is inputted to an FF6, the output goes to H level and is given to the counter 8, the clock signal is set to up-operation and outputted from a decoder 9. On the other hand, similar setting is made when a remote control signal for squelch operation level down is inputted.
