CONSTITUTION:A head lamp HL of a car, a subject of measurement, is turned on so that the lamp axis LL passes the center L0 of a condenser lens L. Then a start switch SSW is pushed, and thus a photodetector element train LSA starts to move to the right by a pitch. At this moment, a scan switch SCN is scanned.
